Clinical Director

Aspire Psychology is a thriving multi-disciplinary private practice offering therapy and medication management. We are looking for a full-time Clinical Director who has a Ph.D. or Psy.D in psychology. The clinical director is the primary contact person for the clinical staff.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Review and follow up with clinicians about their adherence to Aspire policies and responsibilities 
  • Collaborate with the Aspire Owner to facilitate clinical case consultation and team meetings 
  • Participate in 1-hour weekly clinical management meetings and 1-hour meetings with the Owner and Practice Manager.
  • Conduct and document quarterly reviews for clinicians
  • Help with ongoing development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Track and approve/deny time off requests 
  • Assist in resolving problems involving employee matters
  • Document and follow up on disciplinary action
  • Provide additional support for clinicians leaving Aspire – monitor termination letters and patient transfers to ensure a smooth transition
  • Assist the Owner in searching, interviewing and hiring new employees 
  • Participate in onboarding and trainings for new employees
  • Participate in networking events, the OPA listserv and outreach on behalf of Aspire to promote and market the clinicians and to connect with potential new employees 
  • Develop assessments for clinical competency for clinicians and deliver findings to the Aspire Owner
  • Monitor and assess employee and team morale and build team cohesion
  • Research continuing education opportunities for the team

Clinical director must show the ability to:

  • Demonstrate competence in leadership, management, wellness, oversight and evaluation of quality of patient care, staff development, conflict resolution, managing and coordinating one’s own clinical caseload, utilization of community resources
  • Function proficiently in a web-based computer environment
  • Model through behaviors the values that reflect and are consistent with the policies and values of Aspire
  • Maintain 18 clinical hours per week 

Qualifications:

  • Active Oregon Psychologist license
  • A doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited university
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Office Suite (preferred)
  • Competent with EHR/EMR systems
  • Experience with insurance billing and coding (preferred)
  • Follow all guidelines set by HIPAA

Full- and Part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners and Psychiatrists

Aspire Psychology is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners and Psychiatrists to join our team! We are hiring full- and part-time prescribers. Full-time prescribers will see patients 20 hours a week, with 2-3 hours of administrative work a day. Part-time prescribers will see patients a minimum of 8 hours a week, with 2-3 hours of administrative work a day. 

Qualifications
Candidates must be licensed as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatrist (MD, DO). While it’s important to be able to work independently, we have a team of practitioners with whom you can consult and collaborate as well as a full administrative team for support. Must pass state-required background check, DMV check and have a valid driver license.

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Offer prescribing services and relevant therapy to adults with mild to moderately severe mental health conditions.
  • Maintain professional license in the state of Oregon. 
  • Maintain malpractice liability insurance (can start at the time of contract).
  • Conduct individual sessions with scheduled clients using professional standards in accordance with individual treatment plans; document treatment plans, sessions, assessments (if needed or required) and interventions according to professional records standards; complete a comprehensive intake and develop a diagnosis and treatment plan for each client.
  • Follow legal and professional obligations, such as HIPAA compliance and confidentiality, as well as all federal, state and local legal guidelines, license criteria and the professional code of ethics.
  • Maintain professional conduct in accordance with the brand and mission of Aspire Psychology.

Compensation
This is a salaried position with full benefits for full-time prescribers who see patients 20 hours a week, with 2-3 hours of administrative work a day. Salary for part-time prescribers is competitive and is scaled according to the number of patient sessions per week.

Full- and Part-time Psychologist
