Jackie Cole, PMHNP is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 3 years of experience working in the mental health field treating adults. She earned her master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015. She did her clinical work at the University of Pennsylvania Abramson Cancer Center, and at the University of Pennsylvania Women’s Center for Behavioral Health. After graduating, Jackie spent 2 years working with underserved mental health populations in community mental health in Northern California.
Prior to obtaining her master’s degree, Jackie graduated with her Bachelors in Nursing from Loma Linda University. She worked for 13 years as an oncology registered nurse at University of California in San Francisco, the Women’s Hospital in Brigham and then Oregon Health Science University in Portland. She worked primarily in the bone marrow transplant intensive care unit and in outpatient chemotherapy infusion.
She enjoys working with adults and families and aims to balance medication management with psychotherapy when treating her patients. Her expertise is in mood disorders including but not limited to depression, anxiety and PTSD.
Jackie loves living in Portland. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, exploring the city and finding new and exciting restaurants.
