We’ve got answers.
We’re here for you every step of the way.
-
Brian: There are several ways we can help you overcome anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues. After your personalized one-on-one interview, we’ll decide together whether therapy, medication, or a combination of therapy and medication is right for you.
-
Jackie: All of our psychologists and psychiatric nurse practitioners are board-certified and have many years of experience treating a wide range of disorders. We will have a provider who has the expertise to help you with your specific needs!
-
Heather: If you’ve never met with a psychiatric provider before, it’s natural to wonder what it’ll be like. Rest easy. Helping you is our highest priority. In order to help, we’ll start by asking questions to learn what medications have you taken, what are your symptoms and concerns, and if your family has any history of psychiatric issues. This will help our providers tailor their treatment to your specific needs.
-
Brian: Any medication can have side effects but not always. There are some that can lead to dependency but that’s not true for everyone. At times it can make sense to try one of these medications, but only after you and your provider decide that’s the best treatment for you. We only prescribe medication if we’re confident it will be safe and effective for you, and we monitor and manage them carefully.
-
Jackie: It’s getting more common for people to get help with mental health challenges. In 2019, about 1 in 5 American adults received mental health treatment, about 1 in 7 took prescription medication for their mental health, and about 1 in 10 received counseling from a mental health professional.

Heather: Costs vary depending on your treatment. We cannot accept Medicaid, Medicare, or OHP plans, but we do accept Pacific Source, BCBS, and Aetna insurance. We provide you with a superbill for direct reimbursements from your insurance company, if they confirm that you have out-of-network benefits. All costs will be discussed up-front, so there’ll be no surprises there.
