I’m passionate about and dedicated to helping people achieve meaningful, sustainable changes that align with their core values and aspirations. I believe that each person has unique wisdom and expertise about themselves and their own life. My role as a therapist is to help you access this knowledge.
I believe therapy is most successful when we find the path that truly supports the growth you’re seeking. In our work together, we will find an approach that fits your unique needs, drawing from my experience with a range of therapeutic orientations, including trauma-informed therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and relational approaches.
In 2015, I completed my undergraduate degree in Social Work at the University of Vermont and earned my master’s degree in Social Work at Simmons University in Boston in 2017. Since then, I have had the privilege of providing psychotherapy to a diverse range of individuals, from children to adults, at a community health agency in Massachusetts. My work involved intensive family therapy, individual therapy and group therapy. I also had a small private practice where I specialized in working with adolescents and young adults– a population I am particularly passionate about. I feel the challenges and growth that come with these stages in life are especially unique and meaningful.
Originally I am from the East Coast, and most recently lived in Massachusetts and Vermont. Living in the Pacific Northwest has always been a dream of mine. I am so excited to fulfill this dream now in Portland! When I’m not working, I enjoy skiing, traveling, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. I also love curling up with a good book, watching a great movie or TV show, and most of all, I cherish spending time with friends and loved ones.
